Our mission is to invest in both youth and women through engaging Art Education and Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) programs that foster self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and essential leadership skills.

Led by CEO and Executive Director Jo Patterson, we provide tailored enrichment experiences that empower children, teens, and women to develop holistic coping tools (an approach that considers the whole person—addressing emotional, social, and cognitive aspects of their development) and strategies for healthy decision-making, conflict resolution, teamwork, and accountability. Our approach encourages exploration, goal-setting, and personal growth, enabling all participants to become confident leaders and positive contributors to their communities.

Jo Patterson, CEO and Executive Director of Epic Domain LLC, leads a Social Emotional Learning (SEL) enrichment program tailored for children, teens, and women. As a conference host, speaker, and creative instructor, Jo emphasizes the exploration of each individual’s unique gifts to unlock their full potential. Epic Domain is committed to culturally responsive practices, fostering equitable environments, and building holistic support systems for individuals, families, and communities.

Driven by her lifelong goal of empowering youth and women, Jo integrates art instruction with evidence-based SEL and essential 21st-century life skills. The program focuses on enhancing behavior, attitudes, and academic performance, while gaining recognition for its group mentoring and private tutoring services, offered both virtually and in person.
​
Since 2019, she has contributed to various educational initiatives as an Independent Contractor for organizations such as Outschool.com, Big Thought, Thriving Minds OST, and Dallas City of Learning. Her experience includes delivering creative programming for the Young Women's Leadership Academy, Bands of Hope, and hosting a teen summer camp at The Epic Recreation Center in Grand Prairie, TX.

Most recently, Jo served as the Program and Events Scheduler at SPARK! Dallas, a children's museum and art immersive event center. In this role, she revitalized children’s programming, managed creative activities, and coordinated scheduling for field trips, birthday parties, community events, and private functions.
COMMUNITY OUTREACH AND
LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
Our goal is to provide children and teens with meaningful opportunities for community service, including volunteering at local food pantries, children's homes, and environmental initiatives aimed at keeping our community clean. They may also assist children with special needs or engage with seniors in retirement communities, offering support and companionship.

As they learn to lead themselves and others toward shared goals, participants will develop the skills to assess their strengths and weaknesses, set personal and professional objectives, and build the confidence and self-esteem necessary to pursue and achieve their aspirations.
TEEN SUMMER CAMP

Secondary school students are eager to assert their independence and explore their identities. At Epic Domain, we empower them to discover their potential by teaching the importance of self and social awareness, responsible decision-making, and relationship skills.

Our enrichment program equips students to make informed choices, set achievable goals, and enhance their academic performance within a supportive environment.
Epic Domain introduces innovative ideas and opportunities, preparing students for college or vocational training. Additionally, teens will develop essential life skills, including goal-setting and effective time and money management.
